My Stint So Far
A look at where I am, where I've been and what I've been building along the way.

Founder
G Kavinesh LLC
I build projects. I figure out stuff. I try things out for fun. I have conversations with people, identify their problems and figure it out for them. That's probably the simplest way to explain what I do.
Sometimes that means building a website. Sometimes it means creating an entire system behind a business. Sometimes it means automating something that people are still doing manually. Sometimes it means finding a loophole, inefficiency or unnecessary step in an existing process and figuring out a better way around it.I work across a bit of everything.
Today, I work with 10+ clients across the world, with clients and projects spanning countries including the United States, Canada, the UAE, Sri Lanka and Portugal.
Every project is different. Some are straightforward websites. Others involve figuring out how a business works, identifying what isn't working, designing a better system and actually building it.
I don't really have one box that I fit into. I find things worth building, and I build them.

Founder
Whenever I travel, I kept observing travellers waste good days on bad or outdated advice. They'd ask the same questions, struggle to figure out what was actually worth doing, and often miss the places they would have loved. I wanted to solve a simple problem: make it easier for people to experience the down south of Sri Lanka well.

Product Manager
Metana
Metana is where I've ended up doing a bit of everything. I work across product, engineering, growth, marketing, student success and operations - usually jumping into whatever problem needs solving. I've helped build SaaS products like the Metana Platform and Minutely, worked on funnels that brought in 1,500+ leads in a week, and helped products grow to 100+ users within a month.
I've also taught and worked with 100+ students in AI and development, helped 15+ students get hired, and worked on bootcamps, job camps, SEO, content, market research and career strategy.
A lot of my job is simply figuring things out - finding what's broken, understanding why, building something better, getting people together, and actually making it happen.

Head of Product & Digital
TwelveBK
At TwelveBK, I lead the product and digital side of the business, making sure our systems, websites and projects work reliably, customer needs are turned into practical solutions, and internal processes continue to improve.
Alongside the digital side, TwelveBK also has a production wing working with a range of local clients across Sri Lanka, which means my role also involves understanding client requirements, coordinating projects and finding ways to make the work behind the scenes more efficient.

Web Developer
WeWebster
I would say this is like my first role that wasn't a freelance project. I spent my time building websites from the ground up, fixing what wasn't working, and making sure everything ran the way it should. Along the way, I also got pretty good at building, managing, and improving WordPress sites.
